Welcome,
I believe that most of us can greatly benefit from a safe, trusting and collaborative therapeutic relationship. Seeking help can often be an overwhelming and intimidating process. My goal is to make the process as smooth as possible. I am a warm, engaged and compassionate therapist who believes that people can make positive changes to feel better and live more fulfilling lives.
My approach to therapy is integrative; combining psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and relational models. I work with adolescents, college students, adults and families on a variety of presenting concerns. My approach is tailored to meet the individual needs of each client. In addition to my work as a psychotherapist, I offer consultation and supervision services to other mental health professionals.
I specialize in treating eating disorders and body image concerns, trauma and ptsd, depression, anxiety disorders, substance abuse, grief, life transitions, stress, relationship problems and family conflict. Prior to opening my private practice, I worked in a variety of settings, including: eating disorder treatment centers, college counseling centers, rape crisis counseling and community mental health.
My office is conveniently located on Beacon Street, in Brookline, across the street from the Hawes T-stop and close to many major universities and hospitals. Please feel free to send me an email or give me a call and we can discuss further. I look forward to speaking with you.
